“Kelly was our guide. She did a wonderful job. We visited 4 different restaurants, and had an excellent tasting of Hungarian specialties. In 3 of 4 restaurants we sampled Hungarian wine, beer & Palinka. Kelly gave us recommendations for a few ruin bars & the Dohány Synagogue, which was nearby. She then gave a summary of the food we tasted, additional eating & touring sites. This was a wonderful experience, & a terrific guide.”

“This was a fun and easy tour. Most of our group of 8 had not heard of Ruin Bars so it was a new experience. The 3 bars we went to were very different from each other which really let us see what ruin bars are and get a glimpse into Budapest nightlife. We were all seniors ranging from 60-68 and we loved this tour. Since the tour is in the Jewish section, we also got a bit of history on the synagogue and the holocausts impact.”
