“This was a great day trip. Our English guide , Clara, is so knowledgeable about all things Hungary - the history, the people, the sights. She was a delight to listen to and learn from. The lunch was delicious- chicken noodle soup, followed by chicken with veggies and rice and then dessert was actually my least favorite- cake with chocolate sauce, rum and whipped cream. The scenery was beautiful. The Basilica was awe inspiring. I was a bit disappointed with Szentendre as I expected More artistry and less mass manufactured products. “It was a fun trip with plenty of traditional food for everyone and great entertainment at the horse show. Unfortunately, the lead guide made it difficult for those of us with the English speaking guide as she was speaking Spanish and Italian over a microphone on the bus. Whenever the English speaking guide was speaking to, she would speak over her with the microphone. Regardless, it was a really fun trip. A great way to get out of the city and see some of the countryside. The farm was fabulous and the show was fun!”
